Who’s behind Buyometric?
Our business is brought to you by Paul, Andy and Helen. We’re thirty somethings who don’t have much time to waste on trawling through unwanted offers!
Our friends at Fubra, who run PetrolPrices.com, have invested in our business to help us grow, for which we’re really grateful.
We now have a growing team of people who enable Buyometric to function on a daily basis and do what it was intended for – make the daily deals world a bit easier to navigate.
Paul came up with the idea for Buyometric and designed and built the initial website from scratch. He has overall responsibility for the look, feel and functionality of the service.
On the rare occasions that he isn’t working he can be found running around the Kent countryside or spending time with his two young children.
Helen is in charge of all the numbers – be they our email open rates, click rates, most popular deals, or where the money’s coming from. She has worked as a Commercial Finance Director for a FTSE100 telecoms company and is an expert on pricing.
She lives in Horsell in Surrey with her husband where she’s a governor of the local village infant school.
Andy started his career in IT Recruitment managing accounts and developing new business for Sanderson PLC and Execuzen. He now looks after our partners while negotiating new and exciting strategic partnerships.
When he’s not working, Andy can be found hacking his way around the golf course or touching down for Esher Amateurs RFC.
Panos joins us from Bristol where he recently completed his masters in advanced computing. His specialism is in machine learning and data mining.
Originally from Patras in Greece, Panos isn’t missing the crystal clear waters and hot sun of the mediterranean AT ALL.
Paul is Operations Director of Fubra, a key investor of Buyometric. Paul helps us to make best use of our technology platform and supporting architecture.
Obsessed with gadgets, Paul is a self-confessed web geek who loves to rollerblade in the summer and snowboard when it’s cold.
Brendan is Managing Director of Fubra and provides the Buyometric team with key strategic advice.
Brendan started his career memorising all the barcodes in the Tesco meat department; shelf stacking was too boring. He loves skiing, analysing data and worrying about the economy.
